IPL laser permanent hair reduction
The Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system provides an advanced method of permanent hair removal, utilising state-of-the-art variable pulsed light VPLTM technology. Hair Removal with Energist VPL is safe, easy and effective. Pulses of red light are absorbed by melanin, the pigment found in hair. This absorption process produces heat, which travels down the hair, damaging the hair follicle along with its ability to regenerate. Hundreds of hair follicles are treated with each pulse, providing optimal parameters for each individual to be treated as effectively as possible.
Many clinical studies have been carried out demonstrating the efficacy of Intense Pulsed Light. It has an excellent safety profile and has proven effectiveness in removing hair from most skin types. It is highly recommended for hair removal of a darker nature although light colored hair can also be treated.
A consultation and patch test are provided free of charge. This allows us to determine the number of treatments you require as well as the approximate treatment time, depending on the extent of the unwanted hair in the concerned areas. Thus, prices are also upon consultation. All Caucasian & Asian skin types can be treated.
